It’s a huge success! Audio ad sales continue its relentless progression especially in the American market, as indicated by the latest report done by the internet advertising bureau.
According the the IAB report, digital audio revenue has increased by 39% in 2017, which represents an increase of about $1.6 billion. Totaling 1.8% of the digital ad market share. «… Brands are embracing digital audio at a fast clip, recognizing the power of this burgeoning medium.” Explains Anna Bager, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mobile & Video at IAB.
When it comes to other figures, mobile support has increased by 36% resulting in $50 billion in revenue, video has has also gone up by 33% resulting in $12 billion; social media represents $22 billion, search $40.6 billion and bannering $27.5 billion.
