It is encouraging to see that this expert foresees a real increase (18% per year) for the digital audio market in the United States.
Myers predicts that the total volume of digital audio in the United States (including that which is monitised on Radionomy and Shoutcast by Targetspot) will surpass 4.3 billion in 2017 to 7.2 billion in 2020, while « traditional » marketing seen in blue remains stable.
Jack Myers expects that in 2020 digital will surpass 34.5%of the total audio ad compared to 24.5% in 2017.
This is great news for our radio’s developpement in the years to come.
